Extending our network of WiFi reach in the leisure industry

With effect from 30th September 2013 we are delighted to announce the purchase of the Park WiFi business by Airangel Limited.


We already operate in excess of 1,500 WiFi networks across the Hospitality and Leisure industry, by adding 140 networks currently operated by Park WiFi it only strengthens our position as the leading supplier of WiFi solutions in this sector.

Our scale of operation allows us to offer the following service enhancements to existing Park WiFi customers:

• 24/7 end customer support
• Branding and marketing options for authentication pages
• Flexible billing options
• Interaction with social media platforms
• User analytics to support marketing communications
• Enhanced content filtering

Airangel provides WiFi solutions with a difference. Solutions that can have a big impact on business to create a richer, more rewarding customer experience. Airangel makes it easy for its customers to harness the power of WiFi, mobile marketing and social media by controlling, personalising and socialising the customer experience.

These additional marketing benefits provided with our platform “MyAirangel” are also a leap forward from where Park WiFi are today.

We will be working together over the next few months to ensure the smooth transition of Park WiFi’s existing WiFi / CCTV estate to Airangel, with the intention that this transfer will be complete by 31st December 2013 at the latest. It clearly makes sense to do this transition during the quieter period and it is envisaged that there will be very little disruption to the continuity of service offered to all customers.

Jonathan Oakden and Chris Pressley confirm that they will be transferring their employment to Airangel as part of the Sale.

By them joining Airangel it will ensure that much of the “local” knowledge stays within the new team. The customer support function including the customer support telephone line will be redirected to our support department with immediate effect. Both parties are committed to a relatively seamless transition and end customers will be largely unaware of the change.
