Airangel, which provides wired and wireless guest internet access to the hospitality, corporate and conference sectors, has reported a 30 per cent rise in trade from clients based across the south of England.

The company has also appointed a new business development manager to work from its Russell Square premises.  Kevin Palmer will work with Airangel’s clients in the global hospitality sector, bringing ten years of hotels experience to the role.

Airangel, which has headquarters in Warrington, already has a number of prestigious London-based clients including Baker Tilly, Grange Hotels and Malmaison.

Dean Wilkinson, sales director at Airangel, said: “Over the last 12 months we have seen a 30 per cent increase in demand across the southern regions from both the hospitality and corporate sectors and felt that levels of work necessitated a presence in London.”

“Companies across all sectors are realising that WiFi connectivity is increasingly essential to their business and our growth can, in part, be attributed to our focus on working with clients about the revenue generating and marketing benefits of WiFi solutions.”

“The new London office will help us develop this directly with our clients and it will really allow us to extend our reach across the south.”

Airangel is a leading supplier of wired and wireless guest internet access and works with international hotel chains, conference centres and the corporate sector.
