After cost, flexibility and choice are the most important factors for guests using a WiFi provision. Taking this on board, we have developed 5 fast, easy to use authentication methods for guests to choose from as their preferred method of validation.
Voucher card
Using your corporate colours and logo, one of our dedicated Brand Manager’s will work with your Marketing team to create branded voucher cards that are in line with your corporate identity. If required, we can design a number of different cards – to cater for a number of different access periods/purposes.
Each voucher card contains a unique 10 digit access code behind a scratch off panel, which comprises of three layers including black for total security and piece of mind. Once this code is correctly inputted into the Virtual Concierge, access will be granted for a pre-determined period.
Credit Card
Our system offers your guests a highly secure, reliable, easy to use internet-based form of payment. Credit cards are checked on-line at the time of entering the transaction details, and no credit card information is transmitted via the internet without encryption, ensuring security.
Security is paramount to Airangel and our payment pages have successfully passed extensive validation process tests and we have the Trustwave site seal to confirm that the highest levels of encryption available today is used.
On average it takes less than 5 seconds to get on-line authorisation, from any possible acquiring bank, no matter where in the world you are located. Guests can also pay in their local currency!
Once guests have entered their credit card details, a full receipt and login details will be sent to their email address.
SMS
As part of our dedication to offering solutions that are innovative and flexible, users can generate internet access codes via SMS. Simply by entering their mobile telephone number into the Virtual Concierge authentication page, guests will be issued with a code that will grant access for a pre-determined period. Though this solution has only recently been introduced – this is becoming an extremely popular option with both guests and venue owners.
PMS
Guests staying within a hotel can access the internet though PMS (Property Management System). As long as the guests’ surname and room number coordinates with details held on the hotels’ PMS system, authentication will be granted and the guest can access the internet for the length of their stay. Guests will automatically be logged out of the system once their stay has expired. If the hotel wishes to charge for the provision of internet access, our system is intelligent enough to charge for the provision (the hotel will have already pre-determined this cost) and automatically generates a bill via PMS – payable on the guests’ departure.
Custom
Unique codes can be created by venue owners using a management tool we provide as part of the Virtual Concierge package. Using a simple tool, venue owners can generate codes and set parameters for the expiry date and the up and down bandwidth allocation to generate as many codes as required. This has been extremely popular for venues hosting large events and meetings that did not wish to charge for access on the day (as this may be part of prior costs) or to distribute voucher cards on a vast scale.
