EET Europarts and Airangel team up to provide cloud-managed guest WiFi

05/01/2018 – Airangel has signed a distribution agreement with leading IT distributor, EET Europarts. The agreement will see the inclusion of Airangel’s Captivnet brand of cloud-based WiFi solutions included in their product portfolio. The Captivnet platform provides guest WiFi access, a suite of automated marketing tools, and an advanced reporting engine; the addition of which, will provide a real value-add for EET partners involved in the sale of wireless infrastructure.

By entering a distribution relationship with EET, Airangel will be able to expand its reach across the Nordic regions, benefiting greatly from the brand recognition and customer base already in place through EET’s network of partners in the region.

The Captivnet platform provides hotels, large public venues, and other business with long-dwelling visitors, with an enterprise guest WiFi solution that enables them to engage with customers, and provides a simple way for visitors to get online. The guests log into the secure system using social media authentication, via networks such as Facebook or Twitter, or by utilising PMS in hotels or by integrating with membership or loyalty applications. Captivnet also includes options for ‘one click’ login with personalised welcome back messages for repeat visitors.

In addition, the venue gains valuable demographic and marketing intelligence from users through the Captivnet dashboard, which allows the business to understand who is visiting and using their network. The information includes how long they are online, as well as their age, gender and any other relevant information collected via the login process. The portal provides a powerful engagement tool, used to promote targeted offers and to distribute information; improving the venue owner’s ability to reach customers and to improve the guest experience.
